Kandy City Wastewater Management Project

Kandy City Wastewater Management Project (KCWMP) has a total coverage of 733 ha. within Kandy Municipal Council area for cater the demand of 55,000 Residents plus 150,000 Migrant population. Design horizon is year 2030.

The Project consists of 14,000m3/day capacity Treatment Plant, Effluent Disposal System, Sludge Drying Beds, Main Pump Station, Wastewater Collection System of 235 Km, 09 Manhole Pump Stations, Property Connections and Developing Sanitary Facilities for High Densely Low-Income areas.
