Manager Office -Seethawaka
The portable water supply for the factories for their drinking & industrial usage is supplied by the Seethawaka WTP and the wastewater generated from the industrial activities and black water is treated by the Seethawaka WWTP according to the CEA regulations.
There are about 33 numbers of factories within the BOI Seethawaka Export Processing Zone and around 25,000 employees.Both Water & Wastewater treatment plants are owned by BOI. NWSDB is carrying out operation & maintenance work since 1999 according to a service agreement between BOI & SEPZ renewed on annual basis.
